Parents Teachers
Association (PTA)

A parent–teacher association is a formal organization composed of Parents, Teachers and staff that is intended to facilitate parental participation in a college. It supports the college by informing and mobilizing parents. They improve communication between college and homes, help with fundraising, and they take part in making the college a safe, orderly environment for learning.

Parents Teachers Association is a meeting between parents and teachers to involve the parents in children's academics as well as to reform the school systems. To encourage various aspects of parental involvement. To advise on college policies. To organize discussions on subjects related to college discipline.

Parent teacher meeting is an opportunity to exchange observation of children with each other, fostering better understanding and support.

Sharing daily experience and observation provide a wider prospect for parent and teacher to plan, prepare and execute planning for better learning outcome of a child.

Bridge the gap between college and homes, ensuring transparent and regular communication about student progress and college activities.

Safe & Orderly Environment

Work together to make the college a safe, disciplined and orderly environment conducive to learning and personal growth.

Advise on College Policies

Participate in shaping college policies, provide valuable parental perspectives on academic and administrative matters.

Student Development Support

Organize discussions on subjects related to college discipline, student welfare, and overall personality development.

Roles & Responsibilities

How PTA contributes to the ELIMS community

Facilitate Parental Participation

Encourage and enable parents to actively participate in college activities, events, and decision-making processes.

Inform & Mobilize Parents

Keep parents informed about college developments, upcoming events, and mobilize their support for various initiatives.

Fundraising & Resource Support

Assist the college in fundraising activities and provide resource support for infrastructure and student amenities.

Organize Discipline Discussions

Conduct meetings and discussions on college discipline, student conduct, and ways to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
